Membership Categories:

Studios – more than three studio spaces
Individual – individual artist
Organisation – associated studio production facilities, groups and networks.

Studio Membership Criteria:

Studio Members should be able to satisfy all of the following criteria:

1. Provide studio accommodation for visual artists
2. Offer these spaces at an affordable rent to artists in need; i.e. those who are unable to afford to rent workspace on the open market in addition to somewhere to live.
3. Provide these spaces wholly or substantially for the purpose of creative art practice and the production of art works and cultural meaning in visual and other related languages.
4. Be not-for-profit and able to demonstrate a commitment to affordability and the ongoing support of visual arts practice.
5. Be of benefit to the public by encouraging and supporting art practice that ultimately engages with the public, or sections of the public, through Open Studio events, exhibitions, lectures, demonstrations, residencies, teaching, community activities or otherwise.
6. Support equality of opportunity and be working towards sustainability, accessibility and diversity in their organizational structure, studio provision and other related activities.

Studio Groups and Organisations should be able to satisfy all of the following criteria:

— Provide studio or production space for one or more visual artists
— Offer studio space at an affordable rent to artists in need
— Provide studio space mainly for creative visual arts practice
— Have, or are working towards having a formal constitution or set of rules

Are not-for-profit in principle, if not formally constituted as such.

Funded Studios, Organisations and Networks €50-00
